A small and slender annual plant, growing totally submerged in clearwater lakes. Leaves with a broad base clasping the stem, 1-3 cm long, 0,5-0,7 mm wide, very fine toothed, in the upper part of the plant possitioned in whorls of 3. Very rare and protected in Denmark.
